Riley Hospital is a 140-bed acute care facility owned by Health Management Associates, Inc. The hospital is located in downtown Meridian, Mississippi with an immediate population of 40,000 and a draw area of 30 miles, which increases the facility's primary, secondary and tertiary service area population to approximately 300,000 in East Mississippi and West Alabama.
In addition to 120 acute care beds, the hospital includes the 20-bed Tom C. Maynor Rehabilitation Center, the region’s only comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation facility. Included in the major service lines of the facility are: Pain Management, Women’s Services with five private birthing suites, and a four-chamber hyperbaric oxygen therapy Wound Healing Center. Riley Hospital Emergency room is a Level IV trauma center, which sees approximately 12,000 patients per year. The Surgical area is made up of seven suites and is able to accommodate all major service lines. There is an eight bed Intensive Care Unit. Inpatient and outpatient dialysis services are also available.
Riley Hospital is fully licensed by the State of Mississippi, approved as a Medicare and Medicaid provider and accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
