At Riley Hospital, we realize that after acute care hospitalization, surgery, a serious illness or disabling condition, many people have special recuperative needs. That's where Riley Home Health Services, Inc., comes in.
Riley Home Health, which is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, provides skilled nursing care to ill or disabled individuals who can't leave their homes without assistance. The home environment plays an important role in promoting health and facilitating recovery in a cost-effective manner.
We have two offices of Riley Home Health. The Meridian office can be reached by calling

Our mission at Riley Home Health is to enable you to enjoy a more pleasant recovery in the familiar and private surroundings of your own home.
You may be eligible for home health care if you are in need of a skilled service:
On a part-time or intermittent basis under the supervision of your physician. After a recent discharge from a hospital or extended care facility when you are homebound.
Services we offer include:
- Skilled Nursing - Our staff of Registered Nurses administer and supervise medications, including injections and I.V. therapy; ostomy care, gastrostomy tube feedings; sterile wound care; instructions regarding diet, self-care and understanding of disease or injury.
- Nursing Assistance - We can provide nursing assistants or home health aides who are certified to provide assistance during bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, limited light housekeeping, as well as exercise and ambulation.
- Physical Therapy - We can help establish an exercise program and aid the patient in walking with instruction on use of a cane, wheelchair, walker or other equipment to promote independence.
- Occupational Therapy - We can help with the development and maintenance of tasks and roles essential for the patient to live a productive life including retraining him or her to accomplish their daily activities, splinting, and training the patient on devices for assisting and adaptive equipment that will help promote his or her independence.
- Speech Therapy - We can assist the patient in communicating when his or her speech has been affected by some disease process.
- Social Worker - We assist the patient and family in securing resources for meeting social, financial and psychological needs.
