Outpatient Therapy Services
At Riley Hospital's Outpatient Therapy Services Department, we work with people whose lives have been disrupted by injury or disease. By tailoring therapy treatment to fit an individual's needs, our goal is based on restoring function and returning a patient to his or her prior level of functioning. We serve infants to senior adults and offer physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech-language pathology services.
Our Outpatient Therapy Clinic is located in a spacious, state-of-the-art setting on the third floor of the hospital's Annex Building. The department is staffed with experienced specialists, including Licensed Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants and Speech Therapists. The clinic offers ample exterior parking and is easily accessible from the ground parking level via an elevator that opens into the clinic's waiting room.

Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy provides services to people who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease or other causes.
Through Physical Therapy, we can treat injuries and diseases such as:

- Back & neck injuries

Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy provides services to people whose lives have been disrupted by physical injury, illness or the aging process. The goal of occupational therapy is to assist each person in achieving an independent and productive life.
Through Occupational Therapy, we can treat injuries and diseases such as:
- Arthritis
- Stroke
- Hand injury
- Head injury
- Carpel tunnel syndrome
- Orthopedic conditions
Occupational therapy can help you regain your independence, improve your joint range and muscle strength, and improve your endurance. It also can help you learn to use adaptive equipment, while reducing your pain and helping you relearn how to use an injured hand or limb.
