Surgery and Anesthesia 

The surgical facilities at Riley Hospital include modern, fully equipped suites with an adjoining recovery room. Your surgeon is assisted by a team of specially trained personnel. After surgery, patients are taken directly to the recovery room where they are cared for by registered nurses who are qualified in post-anesthesia nursing.

Short Stay Surgery

When most people think of surgery, they think of long recoveries and lengthy hospital stays. With new technologies in surgical procedures, many surgeries that used to require hospitalization can now be performed on an outpatient basis in our Short Stay Surgery department. Patients in Short Stay Surgery are cared for by a knowledgeable and caring nursing staff. If the patient's condition requires an overnight stay, Short Stay Surgery can do this, too. Should the patient's condition require hospitalization for more than 23 hours, the patient is then admitted as an inpatient.
